For the forthcoming festive party season we team up with retailer NEXT to showcase some of their new season Christmas Collection Tailoring. To match the heritage and glamour of the occasion we headed to the Royal Crescent in Bath. This iconic street features a row of 30 terraced houses designed by architect John Wood and was built between 1767 and 1774.

One of these buildings is home to a 5 star luxury hotel which offers visitors the opportunity to experience the grace and elegance of Georgian grandeur – a perfect setting for this photoshoot.

Introducing formal wear for the modern dandy who likes to dress to impress, the new collection is influenced by tone on tone colours in a dark, rich palette mixed with monochrome. 

The standout piece is the Shawl Collar Suit which can easily translate from day to evening wear. Menswear is all about the Modern Decadence look complemented with stylish accessories. Neat bow-ties and burgundy brogues complete any dapper gent’s Christmas attire this party season.

The skinny fit is featured as one of the most directional suit blocks and growing in importance for NEXT this season. Oversized Jacquards is one of the key fabric pattern directions for the season and a great party look for those gentlemen who are looking for a modern take on the traditional black tie dress-code.

For those daring to break the rules with this season's key trend, the Tartan Suit is a striking yet sartorial option. Eveningwear is filled with contrast shawl collars and peak lapels and a particular dashing piece is the Navy Dinner Suit made from The Woolmark 100% wool Italian fabrics at a bargain price of just £189.
