The Nike Free Trainer 3.0

No other style of athletic shoe requires versatility like a training shoe. Athletes need a shoe that enables them to do it all: run, cut, jump and lift. The uppers support rapid lateral changes of direction, while the outsole is flexible and cushioned for comfort.

Training shoes must also provide a low, stable platform to anchor lifts, and deliver energy in the forefoot to power explosive training moves and jumps.

Enter the new Nike Free Trainer 3.0, a shoe that delivers speed, stability and versatility. “Speed is a weapon. Athletes train hard to become faster. They need a shoe that enables them to run, cut, jump and lift. The Free Trainer 3.0 is built to enable our athletes to become faster by allowing the foot to move naturally while providing stability regardless of how they are training," said Shawn Hoy, Senior Director, Nike Training Footwear.

Athletes are faster when the foot moves naturally. The innovative outsole of the Nike Free Trainer 3.0 features hexagonal flex grooves that offer six different flex points to enable natural motion. Mid-foot Nike Flywire technology provides superior stability and the support needed for rapid lateral movements and cuts in every direction.

The low-profile stance of the Nike Free Trainer 3.0 was designed for superior stability and response. This also helps the athlete maintain balance and proper form when doing squats or lifting weights.

The new Nike Free Trainer 3.0 is now available at Nike.com and select retail locations.
