T.M.Lewin Autumn/Winter 2015 Shirts

The autumn calendar brings with it two new instalments of London and Limited Edition shirts to accessorise the new season’s tailoring and accessory collections. While the core TM Lewin shirt range features all those classics that customers come back for time and time again, London and Limited Edition – available Slim and Fitted - refresh at the start of every season to reflect the newest trends. They’re the label's most design-led shirts.

With London and Limited Edition, the brand has experimented with new, often slightly more directional colours and designs; adding a new collar shape here, a little coordinating cuff trim there.

They’re also made in much smaller numbers, so they’re never around for very long. T.M.Lewin update the range throughout the autumn months, right through until Christmas so there’s always a fresh selection to choose from. Rich autumnal tones feature in the latest instalment, with deep blood reds and rich burnt orange, highlighted with softer teal tones and natural moss green. The range is substantial for AW15, with up to 24 new designs to discover. The first shirts arrive in store and online from 3rd August when we see the boundaries between formal and casual blur, just a little, with the introduction of new formal checks in greys, teals and reds.

A world away from your laidback weekend check, each new London check is luxuriously constructed, with a subtle brush finish for extra softness and a new cutaway collar created exclusively for this particular range. Joining them is a fresh batch of colourful Madras checks and mixed melange yarn checks with a lovely light textured finish to add some extra interest. Also arriving in August is a new and very special finish applied to a selected number of our London shirts. This magic formula creates a smooth, silky finish to the cotton, adding a decidedly decadent feel to these tapered Slim, or Fitted shirts. Soft and comfortable, with just the merest hint of sheen, they are also satisfyingly easy to iron as a result.

Detailing remains another major obsession for AW15. Especially look out for new trims on Limited Edition collars that can be shown off to elegant effect, should you decide to leave your tie at home. The second instalment of London and Limited Edition lands in store and online on 19th October and includes an updated White Shirt Collection. Joining their iconic whites with classic and cutaway collars is a new cutaway with a shorter lead edge and stitching that helps it sit, rather perfectly we think.

A fresh batch of Formal Checks adds a fresh injection of colour and the new Bengal Stripe Pin Through in sky blue stylishly combines contemporary design with a generous dash of heritage. New options in the Super Fitted Shirt range take the total to 20 different variations for the brand's closest fitting shirt, including one double cuff option to wear with cufflinks. A new Super Fitted evening shirt will also arrive just in time for the festive celebrations.

A burgundy bow satin-look shirt leads the way in the non-traditional evening shirt category, with a fashionable fly front and soft-finish bluff collar for maximum comfort.
