Craghoppers Launch SS16 Collection

Introducing the Craghoppers SS16 travel collection which boasts over 50 Years of fabric innovation for the ultimate in comfort and protection. Whilst Craghoppers may sound like a forgotten band from the 60s that opened Woodstock and is now enjoying a posthumous resurgence due to one of their more obscure hits being featured on a car commercial, it is in fact a British based brand that specialises in outerwear, tested to endure the harshest of conditions. The brand's origin hails back to 1965 when a team of expediters from West Yorkshire researched and designed fabrics that would take them to the summit of Everest.

Since then the brand's journey has been one of equal ascent. In 1995 they joined Regatta group and their garments became more suitable and accessible for worldwide travel as well as the great outdoors. They are currently distributing to over 20 countries worldwide and have sold direct to over 100. Among their brand ambassadors is Bear Grylls who joined in 2008 and won't be seen eating large goops of gelatinous beetle larva without donning his trusty Craghoppers.

Looking ahead to the SS16 collection, Craghoppers have implemented a world exclusive permanent insect repellent fabric, NosiLife, which has revolutionised hot climate adventures. NosiLife offers up to 90% protection against biting insects including mosquitoes, midges and ticks, as well as up to UPF50+ sun protection, moisture control and antibacterial properties for added freshness.
