6 Emerging 2017 Menswear Brands to Know

We’re always on the lookout for the best up-and-coming menswear brands and in 2016 there was no shortage of excellence. Menswear is a burgeoning industry and year after year, thousands of new brands pop up, trying to make a name for themselves. Unfortunately, there’s not enough room for everyone and the vast majority of fledgling labels will end up fading into obscurity. However, for every hundred new, boring t-shirt lines that spring up every year and die within 6 months, there will be one credible label, bringing something new to the table. Those labels are the reason that the menswear scene is able to stay fresh and interesting and there are a few of them that we think you should be keeping an eye on in 2017.

Adsum

Born in New York City, Adsum is passionate about the north east of America. This passion shines through in their designs, which are unique takes on menswear staples, paying particular attention to outerwear and sports-inspired styles.

The Worker’s Club

Founded in 2015 by husband and wife team, Adam and Charlotte Cameron, The Worker’s Club is a British label with a focus on extremely high quality outerwear made from premium materials. Far from being a one trick pony, TWC also makes jeans, hats and everything in between to a very high standard. Timeless designs and sure-fire future classics – definitely a brand you should be getting involved with this year.

Marco Lagana

Since launching in 2015, Italian designer Marco Lagana’s eponymous shoe label has gone from strength to strength and looks set to be a big hit in 2017. The designs, as he puts it, “hold one foot in the future and on in the past”, resulting in classic silhouettes with a modern twist and constructed with meticulous attention to detail.

London-based brand King & Tuckfield is changing the game and putting the UK on the map for raw denim. As well as London-made selvedge jeans, the label is making a name for itself for its merino wool and its ability to bring a contemporary feel to 1950s-inspired designs. Beautifully made, beautifully designed clothes that will look as good in fifty years as they do today.
