Discover June 2017’s Coolest Stuff

So, summer finally arrived with a bang. A little too much of a bang some might say. But everyone’s excited for the season ahead nonetheless and this month we’ve searched high and low for some of the coolest wares on the market - such boots which feature a flask of whisky, the most stylish toothbrush you’ll ever see and a sweatshirt which took 2 years to make. So, following on from our May round-up, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite products and releases for the month of June.

Oliver Sweeney x Talisker Limited Edition Boot

Talisker, the single malt Scotch Whisky from the Isle of Sky, has partnered with the luxury British designer Oliver Sweeney, to design a limited edition ‘Made By The Sea’ Boot. With just 200 pairs produced, the walking boots are a must-have for every stylish Scotch lover looking to explore. The walking boots are a masterpiece of craftsmanship, beautifully presented in a solid oak box, alongside a 70cl bottle of Talisker’s signature 10-year-old whisky, a branded sterling silver etched hipflask and a traditional styled compass.

White Adidas x Parley Footwear Range

Adidas have unveiled a new white Parley edition of its pinnacle running footwear models, injecting purpose into style and performance. The partnership between Adidas and Parley sees Adidas’ iconic performance-led designs re-modelled using Parley Ocean Plastic. While the Parley collection released in May was inspired by the blue colour of the oceans, the new colourway recalls the coral bleaching crisis threatening the oceans, and is also symbolic of the white flag humanity should raise in order to make peace with the oceans, to end marine plastic pollution with a collaborative approach.

Wrangler x Peter Max Collection

In 2017 Wrangler takes a bold step - both in terms of reaching for the highest quality and, aesthetically, in introducing an unforgettable splash of high energy. The company unveils a new premium collection in collaboration with the celebrated artist Peter Max, master of the psychedelic print - marking both Wrangler’s 70th anniversary and the Summer of Love’s 50th. The jeans giant first collaborated with Max in the early 1970s, and, appropriately, this new, all European-made line - for both men and women - has the same boldly colourful, upbeat period feel.

New Balance x Stance 'ALL TIME' Pack

Inspired by the pursuit of being the GOAT (Greatest of All Time), the New Balance x Stance collab expands to include the New Balance FuelCore Sonic, paired with coordinating Stance run socks. The GOAT inspiration is taken literally in the FuelCore Sonic’s white and grey textured upper and the playful goat-printed insoles. Metallic gold highlights and the words “All Time” in gold reference a first place medal, while a hint of Stance blue appears on the Boa dial to tie back to the collaboration between the two brands. The Stance run socks also feature a white and grey textured pattern along with gold and blue accents, and are knit with a proprietary fiber blend, breathable integrated mesh and anatomically correct construction, engineered to keep each foot supported where it counts.

Carl Friedrik Collection 3

A year ago, co-founders Mattis and Niklas Oppermann realised that most men’s backpacks were either too casual, too technical, or too extravagant for modern professionals. Functional bags lacked the elegance to match smart outfits, and fashion-oriented items focused on style, rather than on customers’ needs. Over the past 12 months, the brand worked to align their focus with customers’ needs. The resulting Collection 3 combines the refined craftsmanship from the brand’s leather goods, with a new functional dimension inspired by elements from performance accessories. Consisting of two backpacks, one briefcase and a holdall bag, the collection is designed for urban commuters and frequent travellers.

ASKET Two-Year Sweatshirt

Two years, it may seem like a long time to create a sweatshirt, but ASKET’s story is special. Just over a year ago, they released their first take on the sweatshirt, but only after a few weeks they had to pull the plug. Despite over a year of development it simply didn’t live up to their expectations. So, they went back to the drawing board, armed with overwhelmingly positive feedback from hundreds of customers fine-tuning everything from the fit and fabric to the colours and detailing. ASKET have now revealed the new-and-improved Sweatshirt release and the results were better than anyone could have dreamed.
