September 2019’s Best Grooming Drops

September beckons the end of summer and makes you ponder where the year has gone. Why not kick start your Autumn by treating yourself to the latest and greatest in grooming. So, put away the swim shorts and reach for your jumper, cooler days will be cooler with the best grooming drops this September.

Horace

Horace is a direct to consumer brand that produces natural grooming products for guys. As a member of 1% for the Planet, Horace donates 1% of their annual revenue to environmental protection associations. The product design is crisp and timeless, and the products themselves are a joy to use. My picks from the line are the Moisturising Shampoo that leaves my hair feeling clean and nourished, thanks to the addition of Cupuaçu butter, as well as the strong hold and shine finish given from their Gel Pomade.

Acqua di Parma

Acqua di Parma have launched Signatures of the Sun. A new collection consisting of re-released favourites from the once named Ingredients collection (Oud, Leather, Sandalo, Ambra and Quercia) which are now joined by five new fragrances (Camelia, Osmanthus, Sakura, Vaniglia and Yuzu). My personal favourite remains Oud, a beautiful combination of oud, leather and bergamot. An excellent choice for the Autumn and Winter months.

Gneiss is a thickening paste that adds texture and volume. Schist is a fibre cream that adds definition. Shale is a strong styling wax and Gabbro is a quick-drying wax with intense hold. It’s time to shake up your hairstyle this Autumn.

Dolce & Gabbana

The King has truly arrived, with its sharp bottle styling and crown cap, K by Dolce & Gabbana makes a statement before you even spray the fragrance. It’s not all style over substance however as the scent is a striking combination of juniper berry, citruses, clary sage and blood orange, with a pimento note in the heart to add a touch of spice and intrigue, cutting through the cool Autumnal days ahead.

D.S. & DURGA

D.S. & DURGA are a husband and wife team from New York, a writer/musician and architect/branding guru respectively. They offer a wide range of fragrances that take the wearers on journeys and experiences across the globe. New to their range this summer are Body Wash and Body Lotion, scented with three of their popular fragrances, Bowmakers, Debaser and Rose Atlantic. My personal favourite is Bowmakers, a woody, leathery scent that's reminiscent of a craftsmen's workshop, building violins and bows.

Osmo

If changing your hair styling routine is your goal for this Autumn, then take a look the Clay Wax and Shaper Maker from Osmo. Clay Wax gives a natural look with a matte finish, whilst providing firm hold. Whilst Shaper Maker is a lightweight styling cream that leaves a shine finish and medium hold. Two great choices to match your style.
