Ingredients: 3-4 pounds of pork ribs (or any cut you prefer), 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1 teaspoon salt flakes, Spicy Mango Slaw, 2 cups shredded cabbage (about 1/2 head), 1 1/2 cups diced mangoes (about 2 small), 1/4 cup diced radishes (1-2 medium), 1 green onion, sliced thin on a diagonal, 2 tablespoons sesame seeds.



2. Crock-Pot Breakfast Tacos 

Tasty breakfast tacos are a great way to start any day. Some people prefer breakfast over dinner. Tacos are perfect for any gathering because they can be made the night before. If you're looking for a warm breakfast for your guests, smoked brisket tacos can be made in minutes! Toss just four ingredients into the crockpot before going to bed and wake up to the smell of homemade tacos. Start with some shredded beef or turkey then add cheese, scrambled eggs, and any other toppings you'd like. You can even use tortillas or hard taco shells. 

Prep Time: 5 minutes 

Cook Time: 4 hours 

Serves: 6-8 

Ingredients: 1 1/2 pound shredded beef or turkey (slow cooker specific), 24 small breakfast taco shells or tortillas* (frozen is fine), 4 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar, queso fresco, and Monterey jack are all great choices), 

Optional Toppings: Salsa, Sour Cream, Tomatoes



3. Cowboy Potatoes & Fried Apples 

This is the perfect dish for a large group because it requires minimal effort and will be the star of any potluck! Just cut up some potatoes into bite-sized wedges, toss them with olive oil, chili powder, salt, and garlic powder before baking for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Then fry some apples in melted butter until they turn golden brown and sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar. You can even mix the fried apples and potatoes for a mash-up of sweet and tangy flavours! 

Prep Time: 5 minutes 

Cook Time: 20-25 minutes or baked, until done 

Serves: as many as desired 

Ingredients: 5 medium-sized red potatoes (washed, scrubbed, and dried), 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or more to taste), 1 tablespoon chili powder, 2 apples (washed, peeled, and sliced), 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine, 2 teaspoons cinnamon sugar.



4. Burger on a Stick with Chili Sour Cream Dip & Corn on the Cob

The perfect summer dish, these burger-on-stick creations are sure to be a hit. If you like pineapple and ham on your burgers, add those too. To make, just put ground beef in a bowl before adding Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you want. When the patties are ready, brush a light layer of olive oil onto each side then place the burgers on skewers. Place them under a broiler for 10-15 minutes or until done. Serve with your favourite dressing, chili sour cream dip, fresh corn on the cob, and lemon wedges.

Ingredients: 1 ½ pound of ground beef (or turkey), Lettuce and tomato slices or salsa sauce, barbeque sauce, etc. can be added to the burgers as desired, Ketchup-Thousand Island dressing (or any other creamy dressings) can be used for dipping as well, 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt, 4 tablespoons of chili powder, more to taste 2 cloves garlic, minced with salt in a mortar and pestle.
