Uniform Wares have launched the C40, a 40mm day-date watch in 3 distinct styles. The C40, a part of Uniform Wares’ Swiss made collection, completes the line up of the brand’s classically-inspired C-Line. Designed with simplicity and versatility in mind, the C40 includes many of Uniform Wares’ design signatures like large, open dials, long hands and bold, applied batons. Its slender case proportions were designed to wear close to the wrist to ensure a slim, effortless fit under sleeves. The three C40 styles are available in a refined colour palette including black and silver, warm grey with rose gold and tonal steel.

Each C40 can be paired with up to five different strap or bracelet options, which are available from a carefully curated selection on Uniform Wares’ website.

Options include essentials in nappa and cordovan leather through to engineered Milanese mesh and luxury pieces in alligator or galuchat, which are handmade in the centre of Paris. The C40 houses a 7-jewel, 11. calibre Swiss-made ETA movement. As specified on all Uniform Wares watches, this is a premium quartz movement with brass main plate and bridge and is screwed directly into the 316L stainless steel case ensuring reliability, longevity and accuracy.

The C40 also features a domed sapphire crystal lens with multi-layered, clear-anti-reflective coating. Sapphire crystal is specified on every watch in the Uniform Wares Swiss-made collection. Two years in development, each individual part of the C40 is representative of a rigorous design and development process that takes place entirely at the brand’s London headquarters. The watch’s manufacture is a collaborative effort between Uniform Wares and its partner factories, with the final assembly taking place at its partner manufacture in Switzerland.

Final quality checks and approval take place back at Uniform Wares’ London headquarters. The C40 is the latest addition to Uniform Wares’ Swiss-made collection and will retail between £550 – £880.
