Moët Ice Imperial Pop-Up at Madison

This summer, Moët Ice Impérial launches the big summer party pop up at Madison rooftop bar overlooking the iconic dome of St Paul’s Cathedral. This elegant champagne is a world first, uniquely served over ice making it the drink for summer (available from Selfridges, £54.99). You'll feel like you've entered the lair of Gustav Graves, the Bond villain in Die Another Day (You know? The one with all the Ice and Halle Berry coming out of the sea wearing next to nothing).

The nautical themed pop-up, complete with penguin figures and ice cube seats, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city along with a bespoke ice experience delivered by Bompas & Parr. Penguins are enjoying a purple patch at the moment aren't they?

The PR team behind the penguins are riding the crest of the wave right now. First the penguin advert for John Lewis last Christmas and now this. Playing on the idea that every penguin has a playmate for life, guests will have the opportunity to stamp personalised ice cubes for their friend or lover with ‘BFF’, ‘I Love You’ or ‘Happy B-day’ etc. The latest addition to the Moet et Chandon range, Ice Imperial is a demi sec style of Champagne, designed to be served over ice. On the palate there is a unique, assertive flavour of fresh fruit salad, a dusting of caramel and a suggestion of quince jelly. The finish has the refreshing acidity of ginger notes and grapefruit.

Make sure you have that description memorized so you don't look out of place when your opinion is asked. And why not give your opinion more gravitas by having a copy of Yachting Weekly tucked under your forearm. In celebration of ‘hump day’, every Wednesday between 7:00pm and 8:00pm guests are invited to watch the beautiful sunset and experience the ultimate #MoetMoment. Once a regular bottle or Jeroboam (3L bottle) of Moët Ice Impérial is ordered, waiters will be on hand with a quick snap of your fingers to deliver a bespoke ice experience. Marry the opportunity to enjoy the splendors of the London skyline from a unique vantage point with a couple of glasses (or bottles, depending if you're on form) of Moët Ice Impérial and enjoy an unforgettable experience that you'll be bragging about to your friends for years.
