Nasir Mazhar + Topman Collection 2016

September 2016 sees the launch of the Nasir Mazhar for Topman collaboration. The 10 piece collection features Nasir’s signature fits throughout and has a vibrant, youthful, energetic ethos at its heart.

"My vision for the brand has always been that everyone should be able to have my pieces in their wardrobe. Working with Topman has made it possible for me to bring my aesthetic to customers in an exciting and more accessible way. With this in mind, amazing pieces you just want to put on there and then were at the forefront of my mind while designing. I was also thinking about forward thinking teens, an energy that’s optimistic and energised but also boisterous. The capsule has something for playing sport, something for the rave, something for the pool – a diverse and exciting wardrobe." - Nasir Mazhar.

The collection can be broken down in to 5 outfits. Eye-catching powder blue and baby pink 100% cotton towelling co-ord sets with detailed direct embroidery are standout. The powder blue option is made up of a sweatshirt embroidered with Nasir’s instantly recognisable logo and jogging bottoms whilst the baby pink option features a zip thru bomber and a double layered hem short with ‘NASIR MAZHAR’ embroidered along the bottom.

Other standout lines include a blue all-over printed nylon tracksuit which has been custom reworked with Nasir’s hand painted artwork. This is the first time Nasir has ever used an all over print. The more relaxed element of the collection is then completed by a black, white and red panelled overhead track top and matching shorts. This is produced in a bonded, textured poly tricot.

The final look in the collection is perhaps the most unexpected. It consists of a digital sumblimation printed ‘motion blur’ muscle fit tee in a special quick drying stretch sports fabric with rubberised logo print and a black jean with logo cutouts and digital sublimation printed, motion blur, backing inserts and raw frayed edges.

The collection is available online at on 6th September and selected stores from the 8th and prices range from £25 - £80.
