This month we’ve welcomed the new autumn/winter 2016 season with great enthusiasm. We’ve searched high and low for the best wares that the industry has to offer. We’ve found a minimal timepiece, a killer backpack, sleek headphones and a pair of suit-worthy hiking boots among others. Following on from our September round-up, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite products and releases for the month of October.

Art of Football T-Shirts 

The hand crafted designs from Art of Football try to emulate the beauty of those split second moments, the moments you never forget. The brand aims to capture the energy, passion and euphoria that erupts from that one magical kick of a football. They only produce a limited number of each design, so your t-shirts, like any good piece of art, will be exclusive and completely original.

Oliver Sweeney Gandini Boots 

Vintage hiking boots have inspired the Gandini – Oliver Sweeney’s boot of the season and one our Editor-in-Chief Trialled along the Wild Atlantic Way earlier this year. Hand-constructed by artisans in Italy, the boot features a hand-antiqued leather upper, brushed metal ski hooks, and a St. Moritz sole for lasting comfort, style and wear. Wilkinson Sword Axe Range  

This autumn sees Wilkinson Sword launch its new cutting-edge range of lightweight axes, in readiness for us to prepare to batten down the hatches ready for the onset of winter. Within this range are three new axes; a hatchet, felling and splitting axe. These axes are the perfect tools for the everyday, modern householder, particularly those with wood-burners.

Penfield Vanleer Jacket 

This down insulated bomber jacket priced at £195 will keep your body toasty this winter. New to Penfield for Autumn/Winter 2016, the Vanleer Jacket combines the timeless bomber jacket silhouette with premium down insulation and distinctive chevron quilt line. Made from matt finish Nylon, a lightweight yet durable fabric that works with the generous down padding to protect against the rain and wind chill.

Tumi Barton Roll Top Backpack 

Utilitarian with clean architectural lines and inspired by the great outdoors, Tahoe captures the freedom of movement between work and travel. Designed to be stuffed, this impressive new roll top backpack by Tumi features compression straps to tighten your pack and maximize the capacity inside. The adjustable, quilted backpack straps provide much needed ease and comfort for hectic travel itineraries.

Paulin C201 Watch 

The C201 is Paulin’s take on the classic dress watch, which they’ve based around a chronograph movement under a domed crystal. The case is manufactured from 316L grade stainless steel, finely brushed to give a satin/matte finish. The chronograph sub-dials include a 24h clock, and 30 minute and 60 second stopwatch. The strap is made from hand stitched British bridle leather from Clayton’s Tannery, England.

Johnnie Walker Blenders’ Batch Red Rye Finish 

Johnnie Walker Blenders’ Batch Red Rye Finish is one of the results of hundreds of ongoing experiments into flavour that take place at the brand’s home in Scotland. It includes malt and grain whiskies aged in first-fill bourbon casks and finished in rye casks. It took more than 50 experiments exploring 203 malt and grain whisky samples to hit upon Red Rye Finish and it was created using a blend of just four whiskies, including Cardhu single malt for its vibrant, fresh fruitiness, along with creamy, vanilla grain whisky from Port Dundas.

Master & Dynamic ME05 Earphones 

Much like the original brass ME05 Earphones and the palladium-coated offshoot released shortly after, the black ME05 Earphones have the same acoustic properties – via 7mm titanium drivers housed in the product’s elegant body – that Hypebeast dubbed “first class audio capabilities,” making them the perfect fit for those that want high quality audio on the go.
