Discover October 2017’s Coolest Stuff

The rain and wind has arrived and many men are currently taking a crash course in the art of layering. Scarves and statement coats at the ready gents, and don’t forget to buy some winter boots too. I’ve searched for the coolest releases of October and I hope you like what I’ve found. There’s everything from unique and casual waterproof boots, a hand-blown whisky glass and jeans made from cashmere. So, following on from my September round-up, I’ve compiled a list of my favourite products and releases for the month of October 2017 - enjoy.

Hype AW17 Collection

Hype have re-written their own rule book with their AW17 collection. Whilst exploring cut and sew fabrics on a grander scale and sherpa quilting, they have slowed down on all over print in the collection and explored the use of graphics in a new and exciting way. The core of Hype is still very prominent in AW17 but the use of more interesting processes, including puff screen prints and embroidery, has heightened the level of production and end product.

Ted’s Grooming at Home Treatment Range

When it comes to immaculate style, Ted Baker believes in taking it from the top: allow yourself a head start and the rest will surely follow. Introducing the new product range from Ted’s Grooming Room infused with ingredients inspired by the ancient Ottoman Empire, this performance-led treatment regime has been authentically crafted to recreate the master barber experience.

Selfnation Bespoke Cashmere Jeans

The brand for the perfect fitting made-to-measure trousers present the new limited bespoke autumn/winter 2017 Cashmere Jeans, an exclusive highlight for the cold season. The new winter jeans are probably the  cosiest jeans in the world and offer a completely new wearing feel. The noble cashmere is woven in a traditional weaving mill in Italy with high quality cotton. This creates a unique product, soft as cashmere wool and at the same time robust as denim.

Hypebeast Magazine Issue 19

The Temporal Issue, featuring Goyard, one of the most sought-after labels of all time, on its cover. The instantly-recognisable Goyard canvas is rendered into three different covers, and also comes with a nostalgic souvenir inside. Hypebeast Magazine Issue 19 examines the notion of impermanence, an idea especially poignant in today’s culture of hype where trends die premature deaths after the briefest of moments in the limelight, covering brands and collectives as varied in age as possible.

Comfyballs Boxers

Traditional boxers are not designed to keep your equipment sufficiently in place. This brand wanted to change that, and have developed what they believe are the most comfortable boxer trunks ever made. They have worked hard and long to find the perfect cut. Comfyballs boxers are tailored using flat-lock seams and fabrics for superior comfort and breathability, and all models incorporate their own Package Front, designed for ultimate comfort by reducing heat transfer and restricting movement.

Denver & Liely Whisky Glass

So, what makes the D&L Whisky Glass so unique? For a majority of whisky drinkers, the humble tumbler is considered to be the popular vessel of choice, while the ‘whisky snifter’ has been relegated to the world of true whisky tasters. Denver & Liely’s unique design brings these two worlds together. The hand-blown shape captures the sensory pleasure of taste and smell associated with a traditional whisky snifter and combines this with the versatile form and style of a classic tumbler.
