Discover June 2021’s Coolest Stuff

The sunshine is out, the Euro football is underway, and things are starting to feel normal again. Things are looking up gentlemen. It’s been a really good month of product drops in men’s fashion, tech and grooming, too. So, grab yourself a kombucha and take five minutes to read up on some of the best products I’ve spotted this month.

Frahm Corduroy Worker's Jacket

Corduroy is definitely Tough and Beautiful. It's velvety without being showy, tough without being harsh. The lines have a graphic quality that reflect light in different ways. Cord is far from dull. Frahm have gone to their usual lengths to build a jacket with very exacting detail, and tweaked a classic style, for what is set to become a market leading corduroy jacket. This is a mid to needle weight 'Wale' of 11, meaning it has masculine chunk, but still elegant. There's the ubiquitous (for FRAHM) twin needle stitching, British Courtney's corozo nut buttons abd soft blue Chambray lining in key areas, making this a purely natural, vegan and biodegradable jacket.

Cambridge Satchel Company The Bowls Bag

The Bowls Bag by Cambridge Satchel Company is the latest style to be introduced by the brand. Inspired by a bag discovered at an antiques fair, believed to date back to the 1930s, it immediately stood out as a bag that certainly does not deserve to have been forgotten. Originally intended as a carrier for two wooden bowls, this bag is ideal for modern day life. Gorgeous in its simplicity, the cylindrical shape is unique and eye catching. They have replaced the traditional buckles with magnetic closures whilst maintaining the exact same look. To prevent the bag rolling they've added small feet and a detachable shoulder strap for versatility and functionality.

Made from recycled PET Bottles, eco brand Dedicated are looking to the future with their new swim shorts. A future in which swimwear helps clean up the oceans by clearing waste and putting this waste back into production. The closest planet similar to Earth is light-years away, and to go there would take us thousands of years. So, maybe we need to start caring for this planet like it’s one in a million. In touch with nature, fair and responsible, and without the use of toxic pesticides or chemicals.

L’Estrange All Year-Round Linen Collection

Linen is a natural material that has a low environmental footprint and is only used in 1% of all apparel production. It's breathable, it's soft and L’Estrange have blended it with cotton and added stretch in order to produce a perfect fabric that is summery enough and feels great but is wearable year-round. The brand launched a linen collection last year using this fabric and their customers have come back saying they originally bought it for summer but have been wearing it throughout winter due to the comfort. The more we use linen and natural materials the better, and we're confident L’Estrange can change linen's reputation from a summer material into a year-round one.

BaByliss Super X range

2020 was the year of DIY. We redefined simple grooming pleasures as moments of self-care and converted our kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms into our very own styling studios. We learnt new skills and experimented with tools and new styles, but now it’s time to take things up a notch. Dial up the performance and the power to clip, trim and tidy like a true professional with the Super-X Metal Series by Babyliss. The Super-X Metal Series is designed to offer barber grade grooming at home. For the Super-X Metal Series the brand has paired both style and substance. The advanced lightweight motor provides outstanding power and lithium technology offers sustained cutting performance.
