WRU Suited & booted in T.M.Lewin

Welsh rugby stars; Sam Warburton, Rhys Webb and George North recently swapped muddy shorts for sharp suits in an exclusive photo shoot for T.M.Lewin. Meeting at the Welsh squad’s training ground in Cardiff, the players arrived to be photographed in the new and official WRU team suit, shirt and tie - all provided by Britain’s best known Jermyn Street shirt maker and tailor.

When they’re battling on the pitch, the Welsh team will be wearing their new Eddington Suit for all official engagements as part of a partnership deal that’s in place until 2018.

While maintaining 275lbs of muscle power is always going to be a challenge, finding the right suit wasn’t, with most players opting for T.M.Lewin’s best selling Eddington Slim Fit.

A great all-rounder for most body shapes, the slim tailored jacket and gently tapered trousers give it a closer, narrower fit than the classic Regular Fit.

Unsurprisingly there were no candidates for the most recent new addition to the T.M.Lewin’s ever-expanding tailoring collection, the contemporary Skinny Fit Suit - admittedly not designed with the pumped up rugby thigh in mind.

Plenty of photos and more than a few laughs later, Warburton, Webb and North were off to focus on the really serious stuff – preparation for the first RBS Six Nations clash against England today.

As Official Formal Wear Provider to the WRU, T.M.Lewin will be offering customers the chance to win RBS Six Nations tickets over the next few weeks. We'll keep you informed once we know more.
