Oliver Sweeney Launches Argento Fragrance

Since their launch in 1989, Oliver Sweeney has come a long way. Originally conceived to bring bespoke shoemaking techniques to the people, they've spent that last quarter of a century developing their products, techniques and business, and today they're proud to offer a full line of footwear, clothing and accessories that reflects their obsession for blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design.

There was only one way to celebrate the brand's silver anniversary: launching a debut fragrance. Named Argento (the Italian for silver), it's a distilled version of Oliver Sweeney: contemporary and fresh, with reverence and reference to traditional manufacturing and the established codes of menswear.

Evoking the romance and craftsmanship that goes into all of their products, Argento uses a warm masculine blend of cedar, cashmere and sandalwood to recall the time-worn benches at their Italian workshop in the rolling hills of the Marche. Tempered by rich, organic root notes of mosses and patchouli on the Italian Ostro breeze, Argento is piquant and contemporary, with intense oud heart notes lending a sense of luxurious obsession for a scent that is distinctively modern yet reassuringly familiar.

Argento is only available at all Oliver Sweeney London stores (West End, Covent Garden, Marylebone and Middlesex Street) and online at OliverSweeney.com priced at £95 for 100ml.
