Discover September 2018’s Coolest Stuff

Here it is. Can everyone please welcome the best season of the year for menswear; autumn! This is when we get to start layering and wearing boots and we couldn’t be more excited here at Menswear Style HQ. As usual there’s been a lot of new releases and launches and I’d like to draw your attention to the ones that have caught my eye. We have footwear produced in a world-famous tannery in Leeds, a bag that recycles 15 plastic bottles and a trio of fragrances hand-filled in Lincolnshire. So, following on from our August roundup, I’ve compiled a list of my favourite products and releases for the month of September 2018 – enjoy.

Chrome Urban EX Gas Can

Chrome’s legendary Urban Ex collection was designed for one purpose; Keeping your stuff safe, secure and out of the elements. With sleek lines and street ready styling, for AW18 Chrome welcome a brand-new design icon to the family – the Urban EX Gas Can. With stunning aesthetics inspired by the fuel cylinders you’d find on the back of old jeeps, the bag is designed to protect and perform in all conditions. 100% waterproof and as tough as nails, this daypack is built to last, featuring Chrome’s innovative and highly acclaimed Knurled Welded construction (one of the lightest, toughest and most waterproof seams out there).

Thomas Clipper Unite Trio

For a unique twist on classic fragrances, British brand Thomas Clipper have cleverly created their Unite trio. The three small-batch colognes; City, Coast and Country, are intended to be blended together so you can layer your own preferred fragrance, but they can also be worn alone. Produced in Grasse (France), each cologne consists of aromatic base notes and top notes such as mandarin, cypress leaf and vetiver. They are vegan-friendly and have been hand-filled in Lincolnshire, using 100% organic alcohol. The travel set (three bottles of 7.5ml) is ideal for a weekend away or simply to keep at your desk to experiment with for a fragrance to start your day and an alternative combination to take you into the evening. You can find the sophisticated bottles in Fortnum and Mason, Opumo and Soho Farmhouse.

We’ve spied a few of the new launches for autumn by Grenson which includes sneakers, watches and bags. Inspired by classic running shoes, Sneaker 12 is a sleek panelled shoe available in hand painted dark brown/tan and maple velvet suede. He sits on a brown wedge midsole with a texured gum outsole. HUGO Watches AW18 Play Collection

Fun times are ahead with the HUGO Watches Play Collection. These eye-catching watches play around with the HUGO logo, reversing its colour and position, or turning it into a pop-art style square. A dynamic new design language tells tales of the unexpected for men and women with flair. Its vocabulary takes in freedom and youth to create style statements that will be noticed and remembered. There is a perfect piece for mindsets ranging from flamboyant, thanks to hot red accents, to the more rational with cool black and white variations.

Pantherella, with over 80 years of socks making expertise, continues to excite with yet another luxurious, trend focused range which refuses to compromise on quality. The Pantherella AW18 Collection is firmly entrenched and inspired by the iconic British fashion eras of the past. Whether it be the dark shadows of Dickensian London, the finely dressed dandies of the early 19th century or the vibrancy of pattern and colour in the 70s.
