MARCH 2021’S BEST MEN’S GROOMING DROPS
Wind, rain, masks, our skin is under more strain than ever. We still can't get that haircut that we so desperately need, but we can definitely improve our grooming regime. Here are my picks to get you looking lockdown fresh this March.
Ole Henriksen Lemonade Scrub
Remember summer days by the pool, with fresh lemonade in hand? Neither do I unfortunately, but Ole Henriksen is offering us the next best thing. Lemonade Scrub features high-potency AHAs, lemon peel and sugar. Not only does it smell incredible, but feels amazing with a slushie like texture, and also has soothing qualities from holy basil and chamomile. Lemonade Scrub is my current favourite product, and has made morning showers a real treat!
Available from Boots - £25 for 90g
Some products just do exactly what it says on the tin, it’s time for a short back and sides gents. SmoothNuts has a choice of trimming lengths from 3mm to 12mm, has blades that were engineered to cut through coarse and thick hair, as well as being 100% waterproof, making it perfect to use in the shower or to rinse after use. Better yet it’s also suitable for use on your head and body, making it extremely versatile. A haircut may have to wait, but there's no excuse for not having a trim.

Harry’s and renowned designer Tom Dixon have collaborated following partnering up at London Design Festival 2019. Crafted in aluminum, in either a raw or black anodized finish, it looks as good as it feels in the hands.

War Paint Beard and Brow Filler
No beard is perfect, at least mine isn't anyway. We’ve all got those patches lacking in growth, lighter hairs, or white hairs in my case. War Paint have now released their beard and brow filler, consisting of pencil and brush and is available in three shades - black, brown and grey. The pencil can be used to fill in lighter areas, or fill in patches, whilst the brush is used to blend and shape. Sometimes it’s the finer details that make all the difference gents.
Available from War Paint - £12
Philip Kingsley Pure Colour
Lockdown has been a tough time for hair, but tougher still for those who colour their hair. The Pure Colour range was created to aid in maintaining the vibrancy of your colour as well as keep your hair looking and feeling healthy. The range consists of an Anti-Fade Shampoo, Reviving Conditioner and Frizz-Fighting Gloss (sulphate free). I don’t colour my hair, but the range has left my hair feeling fantastic.

Osmo Berber Oil
Why should your beard get all the love? Berber Oil is a combination of avocado, coconut and argan oil, which nourishes your hair and scalp. As well as conditioning, it’ll aid in controlling and styling your hair, whilst vitamin E helps to repair damaged hair. Not only will your hair feel healthier, but it’ll look healthier, perfect for any of you suffering with dry hair that needs some TLC.
