Versatile Summer Loungewear from Insiders

Finding versatility in a summer wardrobe can be tricky; we want something stylish and appropriate that can be worn outside, but still have the need for comfortable, cool, and loose-fitting clothes that can be worn inside.

Step forward Insiders, the brand seeking to dispel what we know about loungewear. Originally conceived as a solution to the work-from-home surge, it developed a range of comfortable but stylish indoor clothing that displayed the same care, quality, and attention to detail we demand from the rest of our wardrobe. The results are beautifully designed gender-inclusive pieces that can be worn around the clock, from bedroom and front room to the garden and beyond.

For summer, the need for versatility is even more important. How many of us have changed into something to keep us cool whilst working in the home office or relaxing in the garden, only to have to change to make a short trip to the shops or the local park? Insiders produce pieces that have smart, utilitarian styling, and relaxed silhouettes, that are practical and easy to wear all day and night, inside or out. A light blue ikat print, abstract check, grey pin-dot, blue stripe and brushed grey herringbone come in 100% cotton or cotton linen blend short-sleeve shirts, matched with contemporary shaped elasticated waist shorts, or trousers. The perfect lightweight, summer wardrobe to work and relax in style.

Minimising impact on the planet is important, so the ethos is to produce small runs of product that Insiders believe will stand the test of time, using natural fibres. The cotton used in each of the garments, is either surplus fabric or sustainably sourced (BCI). Prices are £75 for a long-sleeve shirt, £65 for a short-sleeve shirt, £65 for trousers, £55 for shorts and £95 for robes, all from insidersclothing.com
