A FIRST LOOK AT THE NEW MEN'S LUXURY FRAGRANCE FROM BENTLEY
These are good times for exclusive perfumes. The British brand icon Bentley Motors gained immediate success with its first fragrance, Bentley For Men. Bentley Fragrances has now developed a fascinating new fragrance composition as an exclusive edition: Bentley For Men Azure - which was launched to media yesterday evening in London.
This powerfully expressive fragrance with a fresh twist is a modern creation that appeals to sporty, smart and style-conscious men. The luxurious scent was composed by Mathilde Bijaoui, who has been working for ten years at prestigious French fragrance house Mane and is one of the world’s top perfume creators.
With this fragrance, Bijaoui has created an entirely new and contemporary scent from the classic aromas of the fougère perfume family that is a stimulating and exciting fragrance experience for today’s discerning man.
The new scent makes an immediate impact with a contemporary burst of freshness: the top note is an invigorating, stimulating cocktail of fresh citrus, delicious fruity pineapple and the wonderful herbaceous aroma of violet leaves. It immediately transports you into fresh fields of blue.
The heart note of the composition is especially refined: spicy Mediterranean aromas such as pimento, lavender and sage round out a transparent hint of tea, subtle and highly modern. In order for the fragrance to convey the typical luxury feel of Bentley over time, the base note has sumptuous sensual essences such as cashmere wood, tonka bean and the exclusive fragrance molecule orcanox.
The high quality of this release is evident not only in its subtle complexity, but also in the harmony of the fragrances and its excellent staying power. It is a completely unique and wonderfully refreshing example of a luxury woody, fresh and spicy fragrance!
The fragrance character of Bentley For Men Azure is heightened by the blue curve of the bottle. The bright Mediterranean blue gives the feel of freedom and freshness. The bottle has the same form as the previous release, with the elegant curves of the Bentley limousine transferred to the rounded silhouette of the bottle.
The metal cap features a diamond-cut band reflecting the bottle’s high quality. The striking Bentley signet, the “Flying B”, is embossed on the bottle’s shoulder and also adorns the front of the box. The whole image was devised by renowned Paris design agency Aesthete under the direction of famous designer Thierry de Baschmakoff.
This new fragrance will be available from March 2014 exclusively in Harrods UK (£43 60ml or £59.50 100ml), and from April worldwide in selected perfumeries and department stores.
