The New Face of 2015’s Campari Calendar

Last Wednesday Campari unveiled its 16th edition of their Calender. With former bond girl Eva Green as the face of 2015, it was no surprise that the photos are so stunning. With this year’s edition named ‘Mythology Mixology' we see Eva each month enjoying the most popular cocktails created through Campari’s history.

With this year being the first female photographer behind the calendar; Julia Fullerton-Batten and Eva explained how the shoot took just one day, it amazed us all how complex the shots looked but with such talent I guess the work was almost effortless.

At MWS we were selected as one of 5 lucky influencers of the world for this year’s Calender. We stepped in to represent the UK along with Greece, Italy, Brazil and Argentina.

During our time with Campari we were invited to speak with Eva personally, get to know her views on the calender, her personal life and share famously named cocktails together!

The unveil conference hosted by Capital FM’s Lisa Snowden was held at the Shoreditch Studios in London. We were taken through a tour of the calendar, accompanied by Campari’s CEO Bob Kunze Concewitz and Julia Fullerton-Batten.

We discovered Eva has always been a Campari fan with her mother but describes herself as “an old woman” and went on to explain “I’d rather drink Campari at home than go out.” Following in the footsteps of the likes of Uma Thurman, Penelope Cruz and Eva Mendes, Eva described the experience as “an honour”.

“The 2015 Calendar is a real testament to Campari as a brand and seeing all of the stories together in one collection just proves that no matter how old these recipes may get, there will always be a firm place for Campari within our contemporary world.”

Campari has always been known as a very passionate brand, so we asked Eva what she is passionate about - “My work. Whenever I have a passion about something, I become obsessed. Not in a sick way but I am very determined, whether it’s work or love. I am a very passionate person.

This years Calender was shot in Budapest however we were intrigued to know if Eva had a choice of location, where she would choose - “Africa. I love Africa, with the sunset and backdrops I think it would make a great setting.”

Eva explained she is currently working on series two of TV drama ‘Penny Dreadful’ and is soon to start work on a new Tim Burton movie.

Very elegantly sat and spoken, the Parisian born lady just oozes with class and elegance I think she is the perfect match for Campari; she’s a natural bond girl in every way.

She also has a complete character of her own to bring to the table, it doesn’t surprise us the calender has been such a huge success in the past. It’s been a real honour for us to become part of Campari’s history and share our story with an iconic brand.
