Woolrich John Rich & Bros Summer Parka

Woolrich is famous for their winter outerwear, but you might not know that they also offer lighter coats for the spring/summer season too. The Parka is iconic all over the world and we got our hands on Woolrich John Rich & Bros’ latest Parka adaption to see it for ourselves. A Synonym of style, quality and comfort it is a must have in everyone's wardrobe, but should you buy this one?

Woolrich John Rich & Bros combines the brand’s historical identity with a contemporary interpretation of iconic Americana, with a sophisticated take on military, outdoor and utilitarian style. When describing Woolrich the first words that characterise the brand today are comfort, durability, resistance combined with simplicity and innovation.

Priced at £369 the Woolrich summer water resistant Parka is made from a lightweight Poly outer shell and is based on the iconic autumn/winter style the brand has become known for. It features a zip and button fastening with welt snap pockets. There’s also neat patch flap button pockets that add intrigue and practicality too. The essential drawstring hood and waist add great styling points. The overall minimal style gives it an undeniable versatility, enabling you to wear it as easily with a suit for work and with cargo trousers for a weekend in the wilderness.

The summer Parka is part of the brand’s latest collection which was unveiled coinciding with Milan Fashion Week SS17 a few weeks ago. The upcoming line stays true to the brand's utilitarian aesthetic, making use of patch pocket details, neutral-heavy colorways, subtle camo blocks, and combinations of technical fabrics. A solid coat option that we highly recommend.
