HP Inc. Unveils World’s Thinnest Laptop

HP Inc. have raised the bar for the premium PC experience with the debut of the new HP Spectre, the world’s thinnest laptop. Here at MenswearStyle the team are often at fashion shows, showroom meetings, collection launches, networking events and overseas press trips – so lugging a heavy laptop is certainly one of our first world problems. It can get a little tedious and tiring at times. So, when we first saw the new Spectre by HP which promised us a light and thin alternative, we just had to give it a try.

Priced from £1149, the HP Spectre and new premium portfolio were recently showcased alongside the results of the company’s collaboration with world-renowned designers Tord Boontje and Jess Hannah. The collaboration features exclusive, limited edition luxury notebooks at the intersection of high-end art and leading technology. We really like the use of copper in the design. We’ll admit that on paper we were a little divided but a resounding “yes” was the verdict once seen in real life. This use of colour for a laptop is unusual and it especially looks great wrapped around the edges of all the keys.

The HP Spectre is the thinnest notebook in the world, and unlike the majority of other super thin PCs on the market, this laptop doesn’t compromise power or features. A beautiful edge-to-edge display, Intel® Core™ i processor coupled with Bang & Olufsen sound and a sexy and thin design, their amazing engineers have set a new standard with the all new Spectre.

HP reimagined every element during the design of the HP Spectre to ensure the best user experience coupled with maximum performance. The result is a premium notebook PC that does not force users to compromise on style, function or performance with features such as: a carbon fiber bottom creates a thin profile that is both durable and lightweight (1.1kg), high gloss copper accents and hidden piston hinge gives the illusion of a hinge-less design, full HD IPS edge-to-edge display featuring Corning® Gorilla®, 6th generation Intel® Core™ i5 and i7 processors and stereo speakers by Bang & Olufsen with HP Audio Boost technology.
