DISCOVER NOVEMBER 2020’S COOLEST STUFF
THE MOST STYLISH PRODUCTS AND RELEASES THIS MONTH
All the shops are closed in lockdown 2, and Christmas is just a few weeks away. If there was ever a time to treat yourself, it’s now gentlemen. There’s been some stunning drops from amazing brands this month, and as usual, I’ve whittled them down to show you the stand out wares. There’s a watch in collaboration with proceeds going to Help for Heroes, a cycle helmet made from recyclable materials, and earphones purpose-built for sport. So, following on from my October roundup, I’ve compiled a list of my favourite products and releases for the month of November 2020 – enjoy.
Bang & Olufsen X Rapha Earphones
Bang & Olufsen is synonymous with impeccable sound quality and craftsmanship, Rapha with performance cycling clothing. Together they are taking indoor training to the next level with Beoplay E8 Sport earphones purpose-built for sport. The limited-edition earphones will be part of Rapha’s indoor capsule collection, providing powerful music to help increase endurance and get the most out of your training session. On the turbo your consciousness is small. The harder you work, the smaller it gets. With the past and the future forgotten, the present moment is all that matters: the feeling of your hands gripping the bars, your sight obscured by sweat, and clarity of sound that transforms a training session into something more.
SPOKE London BULLETPROOFS
Perfect for cyclists, dog walkers and those who relish the outdoors, the water repellent BULLETPROOFS are ready for anything. Made of a 8 oz technical, yet breathable fabric, which repels water and stretches in two directions, it’s a cyclists true friend with discreet hi-vis trim features; and reflective piping in the roll-up leg hem. There’s even a drop-down reflective flash in the back pocket.
AVI-8 x Help for Heroes Limited Edition Watch
Dartmouth Brands, the parent company of AVI-8 watches, Spinnaker watches and RGMT watches is pleased to announce its collaboration with Help for Heroes. As a group, they will donate a minimum of £25,000 from a series of watch launches across the 3 brands. The AVI-8 Flyboy Engineer Automatic is the first of the Help for Heroes collaboration watches to launch, with another AVI-8, a Spinnaker and a RGMT launching in January 2021. With just 300 pieces available of the Flyboy Engineer Automatic Help for Heroes Limited Edition, each watch sold contributes directly to the foundation’s vital role in providing emotional, social, and financial support to those with injuries and illnesses attributable to their service in the British Armed Forces.
The North Face Snow Rogue
Snow Rogue, the latest Black Box lifestyle drop from The North Face. The outrageously retro capsule looks back at the archives of extreme skiing for a colour popping collection of sportswear fleeces and outerwear. Discover the collection with the look that embodies the alpine attitude of the 80s, repurposed for the city. Taking inspiration from the on and off the mountain scene, Snow Rogue boasts a bold palette of ski-styled silhouettes for both women and men across two drops for the autumn/winter season.
Dashel Re-Cycle Helmets
Dashel has launched two new colours in its new range of slim stylish and sustainable cycle helmets. Joining the core colours of black, mid-blue, sage green and red, will be Navy Blue and Christmas 2020’s limited edition Sky Blue. All Dashel’s Re-Cycle helmets have a distinctive urban feel and are made from recyclable materials – ensuring that they are low impact at the point of manufacture and produce very little waste at the end of life. When you’ve finished with your Re-Cycle helmet, return it to Dashel and they will recycle it for you, ensuring your helmet never ends up in landfill.
T.M.Lewin Max Cool
Moving between overheated buildings to the chill of the outdoors can make dressing for the changing seasons a challenge. The new Max Cool shirt from T.M.Lewin is the secret weapon to staying stylishly comfortable while going about your day, all year round. With enhanced temperature regulating fabric and thoughtful design considerations, the trans-seasonal Max Cool will be the hardest working shirt in your wardrobe, going from work to play with ease. Made from 100% pure cotton with a Nanotex Coolest Comfort finish, an advanced moisture wicking system that helps to balance the body temperature and enhanced comfort by keeping the fabric feeling fresh and dry. The diagonal effect, twill weave feels softer, thicker and more luxurious against the skin - perfect for when the mercury drops.
Tilak X ACRONYM 20th Anniversary Jacket
The new Evolution jacket, limited to 200 pieces worldwide, is the result of the most recent team-up between premium mountaineering and outdoor experts Tilak and singular functional fashion brand ACRONYM. Far from a one-off exercise, the 20th anniversary edition represents the fourth generation of co-created Evolution jackets, after they first began working on the style together in the year 2000. From the first jacket they created to this most recent one, a shared ambition has remained the same: to redefine the functional possibilities of the jacket, while also stripping the design back to its most minimal and refined state.
Baudoin & Lange The Sagan Stride
Sagan Stride is the newest, upcoming line of modern footwear handcrafted by Belgian-style loafer specialists Baudoin & Lange. The release features an active, elegant loafer with a naturally resilient rubber sole and inherently superior comfort – the brand’s own take on the luxury sneaker. Less formal and far more resilient than the traditional bark tanned leather, the redesigned sole - cast from opalescent rubber in hand-engraved, satin-finished molds - epitomises the Stride’s utilitarian spirit, contrasting beautifully with the delicate intricacy of its handstitched assembling of the softest, supplest leathers.
Marloe Watch Company Atlantic Chronoscope Collection
Marloe Watch Company has revealed the latest addition to its range of British designed mechanical watches. The new ‘Atlantic’ collection features an automatic mechanical chronoscope with four distinct models inspired by the dawn of transatlantic air travel – R34, Flyer, Fortune and Spirit. As an exclusive first release, a limited number of the R34 model, each engraved with its unique serial number, will be available for purchase on the lead up to Christmas. The rest of the collection is also available to pre-order for delivery early next year. When designing the Atlantic collection, there was a particular focus on the story of the R34 airship – a forgotten chapter in aviation history. Built near Glasgow and launched from a Scottish airfield, the R34 went on to become the first airborne craft to complete, without incident, a double-transatlantic crossing.
