Plastic Chic: Make a Modern Statement with M:Zero Shoes

As the warm temperatures approach, we start thinking about some summer essential pieces for our wardrobe. Here is a tip for those who wants to make a modern statement: the M:Zero shoes

M:Zero is the men’s version of the Brazilian label Melissa, known for its plastic shoes designed in collaboration with many famous designers such as Gareth Pugh, Jason Wu, Vivienne Westwood and Karl Lagerfeld.

Made entirely of plastic, the M:Zero moccasins and oxfords are still fashionable, urban and comfortable. They come in many colors within a chic palette and the price runs around £45.

Vivienne Westwood presented a version of them on her AW 2010 runway show. But, M:Zero is not the only label that has a stylish plastic footwear. Nike has its Air Force 1 Foamposite, a very modern sneaker inspired on Nike’s first basketball sneaker.
