For men and women that love to stare at fine art, the male fashion world has a lot to offer. While men’s street fashion is unfortunately beige and bare, men’s fashion shows are anything but. So if you enjoy admiring art, we recommend taking a trip to one of these men’s fashion events. While you won’t be able to purchase oil paintings at the following events, you will see plenty of outfits that look like high art. Here are 10 men’s fashion events you have to see this year:

1. Art Basel in Basel 

Art Basel is one of the largest art festivals in the world and takes place in multiple cities all around the world every year. It attracts some of the best international designers and art galleries, making it the perfect opportunity to check out the latest men’s fashion trends.

2. Tokyo Fashion Week 

This event takes place twice a year in Tokyo and showcases some of the best in menswear fashion from some of the world's most famous designers. But the most exciting part about Tokyo fashion week is seeing the street fashion that’s designed and worn by male fashion enthusiasts. 

3. Paris Fashion Week 

Paris Fashion Week is widely regarded as one of the most important fashion events in the world. Here you can check out the latest designs and trends from some of the world's major fashion houses. You’re bound to see incredible men’s fashion throughout the week. 

4. Men’s Fashion Week 

Men’s Fashion Week takes place in various cities across the globe, from Tokyo to Milan to London. It combines the fashion expertise of over 300 menswear designers from around the world, giving you an exclusive insight into up-and-coming trends in the men's fashion world.

5. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week takes place in different cities depending on the year. This event features the best men's fashion trends from some of the world's leading fashion houses. All events are sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and include wonderful, paint-like designs. 

6. Fashioning Masculinities 

Fashioning Masculinities was an event sponsored by Gucci that explored the changing landscapes of men’s fashion. The show featured designs from Calvin Klein to Dior Homme. While it isn’t currently operating, there’s a possibility this exhibit will come back to London. 

7. The Met Gala 

The Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala held on behalf of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. While most of the focus is on the women at these events, the men can really tear the house down. Lil Nas X and Harry Styles are modern male fashion favorites. 

8. Pitti Uomo 

Pitti Uomo is one of the largest men's fashion events, taking place in Florence, Italy. From catwalk shows to trade fairs and from the latest trends to vintage designs, you'll be sure to find something that grabs your attention. Everyone walking the streets at this event is stylish!

9. Milan Men's Fashion Week 

Milan Men's Fashion Week is one of the leading male fashion events in Europe and takes place in January each year. As well as featuring the latest collections from major fashion houses, there are also opportunities to meet people, check out the latest trends, and attend events. 

10. London Fashion Week 

This event takes place twice a year in the British capital. It's a great opportunity to get a sneak peek at the latest fashion trends and meet some of the industry's leading designers. You’ll see a lot of creative designs and impressive outfits from both the men and women at the event.
