In Conversation with Robin Vindevogel of BTI

BTI is an innovative London-based scale-up whose aim is to disrupt and democratise the fashion industry by helping retail entrepreneurs globally to build their dream business. Led by former Gieves and Hawkes private tailor, Robin Vindevogel and chaired by the renowned Dominique Vindevogel, they offer a comprehensive solution for both retail entrepreneurs looking to launch their own fashion brand and existing brands seeking to elevate their business to the next level. They offer access to the supply chain, purchasing power, and creative advisory services of one of Europe's leading fashion families.

In this episode of the MenswearStyle Podcast we interview Robin Vindevogel, Co-Founder of BTI about his background in private tailoring and how the idea for a fashion tech platform was born. Peter Brooker and Robin talk about how the guidance process works, working with Rio Ferdinand and other celebrities, their white label showroom, and how streamlining a brand launch can save you money.

“We started about a year and a half ago, and so at the moment, we're working with established businesses. Basically, they come into our showroom where we have a full house collection, we store about 3000 fabrics at our factory. That then speaks to our order management software platform which offers several categories, from suiting to shirts to casual wear such as bomber jackets or Safari jackets. We have a meeting with them, show them the quality of what we do, the fabrics that we offer, and our showroom. We’re showing them the world of BTI and they usually go away with the price list and guidance on the next steps to get onboarded.”
